He has authored numerous books, and recently edited The Enduring Authority of the Christian Scriptures. Carson is an active guest lecturer in academic and church settings around the world. Joe is a full-time husband to Mandy, and father to one son and two daughters. Prior to being called to the pastoral ministry, Andrew worked in the field of workplace rehabilitation in Brisbane, Australia. He commenced studies at the Reformed Consortium of Colleges where he completed a Bachelor of Theology, and then traveled to the Reformed Theological College in Geelong to complete further studies in 2007. Andrew completed a vicariate (i.e. apprentice year) in Langwarrin, Melbourne, in 2008-2009, before coming to Bishopdale to serve the Lord. It is the greatest privilege to be reconciled to God through the Lord Jesus Christ. Andrew says it is now his wonderful privilege to proclaim that good news as a minister of the gospel. He and his family attend Petersham Baptist Church where he serves as an elder. Geoff is originally from Ireland and graduated from the Irish Bible Institute, before moving to Australia in 2009 to further his studies. While at college he worked as a student pastor at Heathcote-Engadine Baptist Church and has been lecturing at SMBC since 2012. Geoff is a frequent speaker at conferences and training events in Australia, and he has authored and contributed to several books and articles including Finding Lost Words: The Church's Right to Lament (2017).
